DevOps Engineer (w/m/d)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer to work independently as well as a part of the team focused on maintaining the CME service. In your role, you should provide mentoring and training as necessary. Take ownership of issues and problems and drive the fix/resolution to completion, including working with required experts and supporting teams. We are working with the SRE approach and Agile mode of work. You need to build relationships with teammates, colleagues, partners and clients to deliver the service and understands the impact of the CME service has on colleagues and customers. Your expertise will help to take the CME Service to a Future mode of Operation with quicker provisioning times and a cost effective Service, with Infrastructure as Code - Automation of services, infrastructure, processes, reports. Your mission
- Respond to take ownership of, & resolve incidents, by following established processes and documented work steps.
- Escalate to appropriate experts and supporting teams.
- Plan, present and execute changes.
- Create technical documents, and document processes, user/how to guides.
- Uses relevant information for timely diagnosis and enable workarounds and solutions to keep the service running at the agreed service levels.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations / service level agreements.
- Create and manage vendor support cases (i.e. Citrix).
- Independently performing predefined and described SSRs.
- Be part of the on-call duty operation
Your profile
- Expertise in Cloud Orchestration and Automation.
- Broad knowledge of most important programming languages and automation as Code.
- Broad knowledge in common Linux distribution and Windows Server versions 2016/2019/2022.
- Knowledge of Network, Switching, VPN and Firewall configuration in Azure.
- Experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation.
